My Story
As a college student-athlete, I took great pride in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. But as I became increasingly focused on what I was eating and how I cared for my body, that dedication slowly turned into an unhealthy obsession. Before I realized it, I was severely restricting my diet—teetering on the edge of what could be considered an eating disorder.
The turning point came when I passed out from a lack of proper nutrition. That moment served as a wake-up call, forcing me to re-evaluate my habits and prioritize truly nourishing my body.
Determined to heal in a healthy and sustainable way, I set a goal to start cooking protein-rich, nutrient-dense meals—meals that not only supported my physical performance but also allowed me to enjoy food again.
Today, I cook for myself every day and have created countless healthy alternatives to classic comfort foods. It’s no longer about restriction, but about fueling my body with care and intention.
